Baby Boomers Starting a New Routine

A workout can be great for all fitness Levels as long as you work to your ability level !


Calling all baby boomers:

Did you know that only 30% of people aged 45-64 follow a regular exercise plan?

Becoming less active and "taking it easy" - and slacking off in healthy habits is more is one of the main reasons in age related problems.  For example muscle loss, balance, strength and flexibility. 

With just a little effort your "aging years" can make the process a lot more enjoyable. 


Thinking of starting a new routine..?

1. Strength training does not have to mean huffing and puffing and grunting (ew). You can use free weights or tubes

2. Don't try to do too much. Begin with lighter weights and modify as needed.

3.  Exercise with an accountability partner- either in person or connect virtually. It's best when you know someone is checking on you!!

4.  Don't give up!! So many people quit if they don't see immediate results or they have some soreness. Don't be a quitter!!
