Morning Stiffness - WAKE UP WITH A PEP IN YOUR STEP!!

You do not, I repeat, DO NOT HAVE TO feel like this guy in the morning!!


One of the main causes of morning stiffness are being overweight. Your  body has to carry all those unnecessary pounds which puts a real strain on your joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Another reason your waking up feeling the blues is because of a lack of daily physical activity.

The basic causes of morning stiffness are lack of daily physical activity, being overweight, having a poor diet, not sleeping properly, and being in an environment that tends to be cold and/or damp.

Some tips:

  • Walking 
    • Especially if you have a desk job, get up and move
    • Aim for 10,000 steps a day - Get a pedometer - it really helps
  • Exercise
    • Follow a regular exercise plan to get those feel good endorphins going
    • Get your blood and heart pumping
    • Clean out those toxins from your body by sweating it out!
  • Get a good nights rest
    • Turn the phone off, turn the tv off, turn out the lights and just sleep
  • Healthy diet
    • Fuel your body with clean foods
    • Less from a box more from the earth
    • If it spoils, usually its better for you
