INGREDIENTS
- Two 14.5-oz cans chili-style diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 - 1.5 lb. lean ground turkey
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tbs of cumin
- 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- One 15-oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- One 15-oz. can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook meat in a large skilled until evenly browned meat with chili powder in large skillet; drain.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients to the crock pot and top with the remaining seasonings.
3. Cook in Crock-Pot on high for 4 hours. Set to warm.
NOTES
If dry add water or chicken broth, about a 1/2 cup.
