Meatball and Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti - 21 Day Fix and Insanity Max 30 Approved
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
- 2 tbsp chopped or minced garlic
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 2 tbsp basil
- 1 whole egg
- 3 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch fine ground sea salt
- tomato sauce to top
Spaghetti
- 1 large spaghetti squash
- EVOO
How to make spaghetti:
Slice spaghetti squash in half length wise, scoop out seeds and strings
Drizzle with EVOO
Place on a foil lined baking sheet skin side down and bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees
With a fork slice out the squash so it comes out with a string like consistency all the way down to the skin.
Put in bowls as the "spaghetti"

- In a large bowl mix: lean ground turkey, garlic, salt, egg, carrot, flax seed, basil, pepper
- Form into small balls, I made about 12
- Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes
2 Meatballs equals 1 red and fill one container of squash for yellow
