Could Being a Beachbody Coach Be For You?



So... you may be thinking about being a Beachbody Coach!  GREAT. I can say that it has been one of the BEST decisions of my life.  I had heard about it about 2 years ago and thought it was a SCAM to be honest with you. Just some pyramid marketing scheme, too much, work and won't make any money blah blah blah.  I didn't take the time to learn about the business and that was a huge mistake.  If you're here you might have the slightest interest in being a coach so I encourage you to read on and see if this might be a fit for you.




My team is TEAM EVOLVE: Create a Ripple Effect and I just LOVE LOVE our team.  My mentors are willing, able, and wanting to help you learn and understand the business. You should have LOTS of questions. Think about if you were opening any other type of business: A boutique, hair salon, or law firm, you would want to ask people who have done that before, what worked, what didn't, how do you get customers, how can I make money, etc.  These ladies have done just that taking their business right to the top.  I have learned so much from them and hope to spread that knowledge to you!  







I have taken their easy to follow plan and applied it to my business and guess what, it works!  I have built a customer base in a just a few short months and am working towards building my business and matching my salary that I make at my full time job.

My background includes a masters degree in counseling psychology and have multiple group exercise instructor certifications, I help to motivate, lead, and encourage my customers into clean eating and a healthy lifestyle.  As a coach, I help you to set goals that are attainable and realistic. My customers are people that are drinking Shakeology and following a Beachbody fitness program.  I run theses challenge groups through a private facebook group.  Through these private groups we can work together to make sure each participant is staying on track.

  • That includes your first month’s Business Services Fees and your Coach Business Kit, which comes with everything you need to begin earning income.  Or you can choose to purchase a challenge pack in which you get a fitness program of your choice, 30 day supply of Shakeology, free shipping and  a 30 day trial of the club membership and the coach fee is waived!  Now this is a great deal!!
  • A monthly website fee of $15. Beachbody gives you three canned websites where you can do some minor personalization. One site is a Beachbody coach site ,one is a  specialized Shakeology site (only available for sale through the Team Beachbody Coach network) and the third is your Ultimate Reset Site.  I have decided to create my own website and blog to share my experiences but you don't have to do this. 
To remain an active coach you need to have a Personal Volume (PV) of 50 points per month. Purchasing a month's supply of Shakeology (at a 25% discount) is 90PV for example and you're done. "Be a Product of the Product" makes sense when you think about how can you promote something that you don't use?  Plus, Shakeology is simply amazing and there truly is nothing else out there like it. But thats another post...

Kerri Bauer's Clean Eating Meal Plan

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having a great week!  I know that I am ready to be back on track this week. On Sundays, I look in my fridge, check my grocery situation, look at my own list of recipes, grocery shop if needed and write out what I will eat all week long. I find it so much easier if I plan ahead of time.   This weekend, I will be going out of town but I love that I can take my DVDs with me and play them on my computer so, I never miss a workout.  Shakeology is perfect because all you need is a shaker cup and water so breakfast is always healthy and easy to take!  




I like to schedule my workouts too, that way there is no guessing. I am doing ChaLEAN Extreme and loving this workout.  It combines weights with fun 30-40 minute workouts to get you sculpted!!  Muscle Burns FAT.



When I'm busy and on the go I grab a Shakeology because it's easy, it tastes good and its portable.  Plus it keeps me full for 3 hours and it is equivalent to 6 salads in one meal.  It fits into my clean lifestyle and we all need something super healthy and clean in our day!!!  I can honestly say that I was skeptical of shakeology.  

Now, I am a true believer. 




 Why?  Just for the sheer fact of the energy level I have now, the fact that it has things in it that I wouldn't typically get from the foods that I eat.  It has boosted my immune system and has kept me healthy through the flu season and more!!!  I am busiest in the morning, getting myself and my son out the door by 6:45am so a shake makes sense! 




My afternoon snack is usually 2 cups of raw veggies such as carrots, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes and 2 tbsp of hummus.  Hummus is a great source of protein as well. I love homemade hummus and I think it tastes WAY better than store bought.

Eggplant Parmesan with Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients:
1 medium spaghetti squash
1 medium eggplant
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup of Italian Breadcrumbs
1/4 cup of fresh Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup of skim milk
Extra virgin olive oil

How to:

Slice spaghetti squash in half length wise, scoop out seeds and strings

Drizzle with EVOO

Place on a foil lined baking sheet skin side down and bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees

With a fork slice out the squash so it comes out with a string like consistency all the way down to the skin.

Put in bowls as the "spaghetti"

Take eggplant and slice it horizontal into 1/2 inch slices

Beat egg and milk in one bowl

Mix Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in another

Dip the egg plant slices into the egg/milk mixture, fully coat, and then dip it into parmesan/bread crumbs mixture

Place the breaded eggplant onto a foil lined baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and then flip and cook 10 minutes more.

Warm spaghetti sauce in a pot on the stove and drizzle over the spaghetti squash, eggplant parm and ENJOY!


Meal Plan and Workouts

One thing that is NON- negotiable to me is to plan out my meals and workouts.  It is so much easier to know what I going to do for my workout and what I am going to eat each day rather than eating on the fly.  When I don't plan - I always end up over eating or eating JUNK!  This week is a little crazy but I am going to amp up my workouts and be on point with my eating.   The great thing about these programs is that I can go back and use plants from old programs.  This week I am doing a little combo action of 21 Day Fix, Chalean Extreme and 1 day of Insanity at my Fit Club ( Free Workouts) - Every Monday in Avella, PA --  Let me know if you want to come and I'll give you the info :)

Here is my meal plan and workouts scheduled out for the next 7 days.  The 3 day fix  is designed to be a short term thing - high in protein and veggies and a great way to look your best FAST.  Looking great and staying healthy takes a lifetime of commitment and thats what the 21 Day Fix is all about.  Sometimes you need a little OOMPH to your workouts.  Autumn Calabrese the creator of the 21 Day Fix uses this to prepare for her bikini competitions -  if its good enough for her - good enough for me!!

This program is to use as needed but can get you those AFTERS you really need. Since I have the correct portion control containers, its so easy to make sure I am eating the appropriate portions and since I have a personal trainer right in my living room - I know I will be ready for the weekend!

Strawberry Protein Balls


Ingredients:

4 scoops strawberry shakeology
3 cups of oatmeal
3/4 cup of Craisins
1/4 cup of honey (warmed)
3/4 cup of peanut butter (warmed)
1/2 cup of skim milk




Mix all ingredients together and form into small balls. Makes about 12.

Put in the fridge over night and enjoy!

Crock Pot Chili - Healthy Version

INGREDIENTS
  • Two 14.5-oz cans chili-style diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 - 1.5 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tbs of cumin
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • One 15-oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • One 15-oz. can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook meat in a large skilled until evenly browned meat with chili powder in large skillet; drain.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients to the crock pot and top with the remaining seasonings.  
3. Cook in Crock-Pot on high for 4 hours. Set to warm.
NOTES
If dry add water or chicken broth, about a 1/2 cup.

PiYO REVIEW - 60 DAY CHALLENGE




60 Day  PiYo Challenge


Chalene Johnson originally created the PiYo class because she wanted a workout that would provide hardcore results—without destroying your body. I lost the most in my Chest and in my Waist - yay!!!!!!!

Who doesn't want to lose inches off their waist!  Although I can't tell a drastic difference I can see more defined abs and arms for sure.  

Thats the great thing about measuring, if I had only weighed myself I might have felt like I didn't accomplish anything but since I had my MEASUREMENTS, I could see that 3 whole inches are GONE!

Who Should do PiYO?
